Cummins Achieves Milestone with Six Wickets for 28 Runs
LONDON: In the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 final against South Africa at The Lord’s, Australia’s captain, Pat Cummins, achieved a remarkable feat on Thursday, securing six wickets.
The right-arm fast bowler, responsible for all five South African wickets claimed by a bowler on the second day of the decisive Test, reached a career milestone of 300 wickets in Test cricket, joining the ranks of only eight Australian bowlers to achieve this.
Cummins commented on his accomplishment, noting that reaching 300 wickets is a significant landmark for any fast bowler, symbolizing resilience against injuries and success in diverse conditions.
