Global Leaders Extend Congratulations on Pakistan’s Independence Day

Distinguished world leaders and prominent figures from across the globe conveyed their heartfelt congratulations to Pakistan on the occasion of its 78th Independence Day on Thursday.

The nation commemorated its Independence Day with patriotic zeal. The day commenced with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital, followed by 21-gun salutes at each provincial headquarters.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio conveyed his sincere felicitations to the people of Pakistan on their Independence Day.

In a released statement, he expressed the United States’ deep appreciation for Pakistan’s involvement in counter-terrorism efforts and trade relations.
