Prince William and Princess Kate to Miss Royal Easter Event
Prince William and Princess Kate will not participate in the forthcoming royal Easter celebration.
Reportedly, the Prince and Princess of Wales intend to forgo the annual Easter Sunday service at Windsor. Instead, they will spend the Bank Holiday weekend at Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk.
William and Kate have chosen to take a respite from their royal engagements. Their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are currently on their school break from Lambrook.
Notably, this marks the second consecutive year the Prince and Princess will be absent from the Easter church service. Last year’s service occurred shortly after Kate publicly announced her cancer diagnosis.
Buckingham Palace confirmed on April 11 that King Charles and Queen Camilla will be accompanied by other members of the royal family for the Easter Matins service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
While the specific attendees are typically not disclosed in advance, regular royal family members such as the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal, Anne, usually attend.
