VinFast to Inaugurate Indian Car Assembly Plant by June

HANOI: According to the head of the company, electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast intends to launch a car assembly facility in India before the end of June. The announcement was made to shareholders of Vingroup, VinFast’s parent company, on Thursday.

VinFast Expands Production Capabilities to Vietnam

Separately, VinFast is also focusing on enhancing its production footprint in Vietnam.

Investment in Tamil Nadu
  • Last year, VinFast and the government of Tamil Nadu finalized an agreement to pursue a total investment of up to $2 billion.
  • The initial phase includes a commitment of $500 million over the first five years.
  • The plant is projected to achieve an annual production capacity reaching 150,000 vehicles.
