UFC Returns to Paris for Fight Night

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced its return to Paris for a Fight Night event scheduled for this September.

The event will be held at the Accor Arena on September 6, although the final fight card is still pending confirmation.

UFC events in Paris are known for their vibrant atmosphere, fueled by passionate French fans.

Ciryl Gane, former interim UFC heavyweight champion, previously acknowledged the enthusiastic crowd after his victory over Serghei Spivac, stating, “Thank you to the fans – you are crazy, the best fans in the world.”

The UFC’s presence in France began in 2022, with previous events drawing crowds of over 15,000.

The Parisian audience has established itself as one of the most energetic and dedicated, surpassing even those in the UK and Australia.

The last event in France, held in September 2024, saw Renato Moicano deliver a standout performance against Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC Paris.

That fight headlined UFC Fight Night 243 at the Accor Arena.

The 2023 event featured local heavyweight Ciryl Gane, who secured a championship win by defeating Serghei Spivac.

The current UFC roster includes several fighters who hail from France, such as Nassourdine Imavov, Manon Fiorot, Fares Ziam, Oumar Sy, and the aforementioned Gane and Saint Denis.
