Pakistan’s Sugar Tender: Lowest Bid Assessed
Hamburg: According to preliminary evaluations from European traders, the most competitive bid in Pakistan’s international tender for 100,000 metric tons of sugar was believed to be $539 per metric ton, including cost and freight (c&f).
The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP), the state trading agency, is still reviewing the offers submitted in the tender, and no purchase has been officially announced at this time.
The TCP retains the option to engage in negotiations for several days following the tender submission before making a final decision on any potential purchase.
These reports represent traders’ assessments, and subsequent price and volume estimates are subject to change.
