Maid’s Death Leads to Murder Case in Jhelum
Authorities have filed a murder case against a man, his spouse, and two household employees following the discovery of an 18-year-old maid’s corpse at a residence within a private housing community in Jhelum’s Kala Gujran vicinity.
Law enforcement sources indicate that the young woman, originally hailing from Okara, was found deceased inside the home and promptly transported to the District Headquarters Hospital. The preliminary post-mortem examination indicated apparent signs of physical abuse on various parts of her body.
The complainant, who is the girl’s father, stated that his daughter faced physical violence based on accusations of stealing jewelry. He maintained her innocence and alleged she was unjustly accused and mistreated.
Based on the father’s formal complaint, a murder charge has been officially registered, identifying the homeowner, his wife, and two domestic staff members as the accused parties.
Police have detained a woman and two additional individuals for questioning while actively conducting raids to apprehend the remaining individuals implicated in the case.
Officials have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing to fully uncover the detailed circumstances surrounding the young woman’s death. The family has taken possession of the body and transferred it to Okara for funeral rites.
