Stevie Nicks Confirms New Album

Stevie Nicks, the renowned icon from Fleetwood Mac, has officially announced a new album. The 76-year-old singer behind the hit “Landslide” shared that her upcoming collection of songs will explore her romantic experiences, with lyrics already penned.

She also mentioned that one of the tracks will pay tribute to the late, great musician and songwriter, Prince.

“I’m currently in the process of creating a record,” Nicks revealed during her induction into the Pollstar Live Hall of Fame on Wednesday evening.

She elaborated, “I’m calling it the ‘Ghost’ record because it seemingly materialized in recent weeks. I currently have seven songs which are intensely personal and authentic, holding nothing back, perhaps for the first time in my career.”

“These aren’t vague, abstract songs open to interpretation; instead, they are genuine narratives and personal memories of remarkable men,” the “Gypsy” singer further explained.

Nicks further disclosed that the genesis of this album occurred after she evacuated her Los Angeles residence due to the devastating wildfires that engulfed the area.

The album, tentatively titled “Ghost,” marks her first release in 14 years, following her 2011 album, “In Your Dreams.”

Stevie Nicks is also anticipating collaborations with esteemed artists like Tom Petty, Joe Walsh, Don Henley, and Jimmy Iovine for this forthcoming endeavor.
