Shooting Incident in Malakand Injures Former MNA

Former Member of National Assembly, Mufti Kifayatullah, sustained injuries in a shooting that occurred at his residence in Tehsil Batkhela, Malakand, officials reported on Saturday.

Levies authorities confirmed that Kifayatullah, a prominent figure and member of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), was promptly transported to a medical facility for treatment.

Tragically, the event resulted in the deaths of his son and daughter. His wife also suffered injuries during the assault.

Sources have indicated that the assailant fled the location immediately after the attack.
