Saudi Tourism Authority Concludes Roadshow in Pakistan
The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) recently wrapped up a four-day business-to-business (B2B) event in Karachi and Islamabad. This initiative was designed to present fresh opportunities in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector and to display destination experiences, thereby enhancing the relationship between the tourism and business industries of both nations.
The event facilitated connections between Saudi organizations—including prominent hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), destination marketing organizations (DMOs), airlines, and transportation services—and important Pakistani trade partners.
The program fostered new collaborative possibilities through personalized business interactions, B2B pairings, and MICE-focused networking activities, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s growing tourism offerings.
Saudi Arabia is establishing itself as a growing MICE tourism destination, supported by top-tier convention facilities, innovative venues, and an infrastructure capable of hosting international meetings, incentive programs, conferences, and exhibitions.
In addition to MICE prospects, the roadshow showcased Saudi Arabia’s diverse attractions, from the historical and cultural treasures of AlUla to the dynamic atmosphere of Riyadh, the liveliness of Jeddah, and the scenic landscapes of Abha, Taif, and AlBaha.
Major entertainment and lifestyle happenings like MDL Beast and Riyadh Season were also featured, emphasizing the Kingdom’s capacity to integrate business activities with distinctive cultural explorations.
To stimulate immediate participation, exclusive deals were introduced, providing appealing summer discounts, early booking advantages for winter excursions to AlUla, and customized packages for both recreational and group travel.
The Saudi delegation featured representatives from Taiba Investments, Saudi Silk Route, Via Konnect, 88 Destinations, Kurban Tours, King Abdullah Economic City (represented by Via Konnect), Qiddiya, Aroya Cruise (represented by JAS Travels), Saudia Airlines, FlyADeal, and the Haramain Train, along with Saudi Arabia’s rapidly developing metro system and high-speed rail services, which are improving connections between major cities.
This roadshow underscores Saudi Arabia’s ongoing dedication to Pakistan and its aim to deliver comprehensive travel solutions that combine business, culture, and leisure.
