Roman Reigns Hints at Potential Retirement

Former WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns has suggested he might retire, indicating his time in the ring could be ending in the next couple of years.

In a recent discussion with Vanity Fair, Reigns stated his intention to step back from the physical demands of wrestling once his current WWE contract concludes after WrestleMania 41.

“After my present contract concludes, we probably have another year or two at the most,” Reigns commented.

“Then it’s time to move towards a less physically intensive form of entertainment,” he added.

Reigns, who recently saw his impressive 1,316-day title reign come to an end, has been a prominent figure in WWE for the last decade.

Initially a full-time performer, he has gradually moved to a part-time status, participating in just one singles match since WrestleMania 40.

Despite a lighter schedule, Reigns continues to be central to WWE’s main storylines.

He is scheduled to headline his tenth WrestleMania, a record, this year, facing CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a high-profile Triple Threat Match scheduled for April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Adding further complexity, Paul Heyman, his long-standing advisor, will be supporting Punk for the contest.

The 39-year-old made a rare appearance on RAW this past Monday, taking part in a heated exchange with Rollins, Punk, and Heyman.

The segment concluded with Rollins hitting Reigns with a forceful chair shot to the back, making a statement before their WrestleMania 41 encounter.

With no appearances currently planned after WrestleMania 41, there is increasing speculation that The Head of the Table might take another significant break — or possibly retire permanently.
