Pant Achieves Milestones with Twin Centuries Against England
LEEDS: During the ongoing first Test of the five-match series against England at Edgbaston, Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant etched his name in the record books on Monday with centuries in both innings.
Following his impressive 134 in the first innings, Pant continued his form, scoring 118 off 140 balls in the second innings, including 15 boundaries and three sixes.

This performance marks Pant as the first Indian wicketkeeper-batter to achieve centuries in both innings of a Test match.

Globally, he is only the second wicketkeeper-batter to reach this milestone, following Zimbabwe’s Andy Flower, who scored centuries in both innings against South Africa in 2001.

Furthermore, Rishabh Pant is now the seventh Indian batter overall to accomplish this feat. Sunil Gavaskar leads the list, having done so three times, followed by Rahul Dravid, who achieved it twice.
