Rana Sanaullah Wins Senate By-Election

Lahore: Unofficial and preliminary results indicate that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has emerged victorious in the Senate by-election held on Tuesday.

Sources indicate that the PM’s advisor for political and public affairs garnered 250 votes. Of the 251 votes that were cast, one was declared invalid.

The by-election took place to fill the seat for Punjab Province, which became vacant due to the disqualification of Senator Ejaz Chaudhry from PTI.
