Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced her commitment to highlighting the province’s stunning tourism destinations on an international level.
In her message on World Tourism Day, she emphasized that Punjab possesses immense untapped tourism potential, boasting deserts, mountain ranges, lakes, and rivers.

The Chief Minister revealed that sustainable measures are being implemented to boost Punjab’s tourism industry. She stressed that tourism plays a crucial role in economic growth, local culture promotion, and strengthening international ties.
Game-Changer Tourism Projects
Maryam Nawaz highlighted the Murree Glass Train Project as a revolutionary initiative to enhance tourism, ensuring a world-class travel experience for visitors. She added that the master plan to transform Murree into a premier tourist destination is already in progress.
Infrastructure and Hospitality Enhancements
Key road networks are being upgraded to provide safer and more comfortable travel for tourists. Additionally, a world-class hotel is set to be constructed in Kartarpur to boost religious tourism. Special attention is being given to preserving Punjab’s cultural heritage and enhancing visitor experiences.
The Chief Minister further announced that new, attractive tourist sites are being introduced across Punjab. To ensure visitor safety, top-notch security arrangements have been put in place.
