MDCAT Rescheduled Due to Flood Situation

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced a revised date for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) in light of the widespread flooding affecting the nation.

The PMDC has stated that the entrance exam, initially planned for October 5, 2025, will now take place on October 26, 2025, which falls on a Sunday.

According to the council, this decision followed discussions with representatives from all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Gilgit Baltistan.

In a released statement, the PMDC conveyed that the adjustment aims to protect the educational interests of students and ensure equitable opportunities for everyone.

This update comes after Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal directed the PMDC to reassess the testing schedule.

The health minister commented on the decision, noting it was implemented to benefit students broadly.
