Karachi Weather Forecast: Dry and Hot Conditions Expected
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has released its forecast for Karachi, anticipating dry and warm weather conditions to persist over the next 24 hours. Nighttime temperatures are projected to decrease.
The Met Office has issued an advisory, highlighting the ongoing shift in Karachi’s weather patterns. Winds, having altered direction, are now blowing from the northeast.
Having experienced cooler nights recently, Karachi is entering a pre-winter phase, according to the PMD. The minimum temperature recorded today was 24.3 degrees Celsius, with an expected daytime high of 35 degrees Celsius.
The recorded humidity level stood at 78%.
The weather authority noted reduced chances of rainfall during October and November. Experts have also stated that Karachi is unlikely to experience significant rainfall during this period.
Previously, on October 6, various areas of Karachi received rainfall, creating more pleasant weather and offering a respite from the city’s intense heat.
Significant rainfall occurred in areas such as Buffer Zone, Baldia Town, North Karachi, and Nazimabad, where residents enjoyed relief from the heat. The rainfall was accompanied by a cool and refreshing breeze.
