In a significant announcement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the World Bank’s decision to invest $20 billion into Pakistan’s economy through the newly approved 10-year Country Partnership Framework (CPF). The CPF will concentrate on six critical sectors:

  5. Inclusive Growth: Promoting economic growth that benefits all segments of society, with particular focus on the marginalized.

The decision by the World Bank to approve this substantial financial support signals growing confidence in Pakistan’s economic future. The framework, which received approval from 19 out of 24 directors, will provide Pakistan with much-needed funds to strengthen its economy and improve the livelihoods of its citizens.
