Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has launched the Case Assignment and Management System, a groundbreaking initiative designed to retrieve funds lost to corruption. During the inauguration ceremony, he emphasized that this system will ensure that every embezzled rupee is recovered and redirected toward public welfare projects.
Billions Recovered in a Single Day
Highlighting the efficiency of the new system, PM Shehbaz Sharif revealed that the Sindh High Court successfully resolved cases worth PKR 24 billion in just one day. These recovered funds will now be transferred to the national treasury, marking a significant step in the fight against corruption.
A Strategic Economic Revival Plan
Beyond tackling corruption, the Prime Minister outlined a strategic roadmap to boost Pakistan’s exports to USD 60 billion within the next five years. He stressed the importance of economic reforms, transparent governance, and fiscal discipline to ensure sustainable national growth.
Pending Cases Worth Trillions
PM Shehbaz Sharif also pointed out that trillions of rupees remain locked in litigation across tribunals, high courts, and the Supreme Court. He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to retrieving these funds, stating, “Every penny of unpaid taxes belongs to the people and must be returned to the national treasury.”
A Call for Nationwide Accountability
The Prime Minister urged judicial bodies, law enforcement agencies, and financial institutions to collaborate in ensuring swift resolution of corruption-related cases. By doing so, the government aims to foster a culture of accountability and economic stability.
