PCB Launches ‘PCB Live’ Streaming Platform for Cricket Fans

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the launch of its own digital streaming service, known as “PCB Live,” to provide cricket enthusiasts with direct access to live matches, unique content, and archived cricket footage.

Initially, the cricket board has made this over-the-top (OTT) platform available to fans residing in the United Kingdom (UK) via a web-based service. This will allow them to stream the upcoming Test series featuring Pakistan against South Africa.

By the close of October, a mobile application version will also be introduced in the UK, enabling users to access PCB Live on their smartphones and other smart devices.

This platform represents the PCB’s inaugural direct-to-consumer digital undertaking. It is designed to showcase both live and on-demand content, which includes international matches, selected domestic tournaments, and archival videos of significant moments in Pakistan cricket history.

Subscribers can look forward to an ever-growing collection of matches, highlights, documentaries, player interviews, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content. The forthcoming tri-nation series, featuring Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka, will also be accessible through this new service.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi described the launch as a “significant milestone,” emphasizing the board’s dedication to enhancing fan interaction via digital innovation.

Naqvi stated, “We take pride in introducing our own OTT platform at a time when digital convenience is shaping the fan experience. While PCB Live is debuting in the UK, we intend to gradually broaden its scope to encompass other regions, ensuring that fans across the globe remain connected with Pakistan cricket.”

He further commented that “PCB Live” seeks to bring Pakistan cricket “directly to its passionate fanbase,” by blending nostalgia with immediate access to the team’s latest performances.
