Pakistani American Chamber of Commerce Inaugurated in Chicago

The Pakistani American Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce (PACC) has officially commenced operations in Chicago. The inauguration ceremony featured Consul General Tariq Karim, alongside prominent figures from the business sector, community representatives, and local government officials.

During his address, Consul General Tariq Karim underscored the importance of the PACC’s establishment, hailing it as a pivotal initiative. He stated that it will serve as a key platform for fostering entrepreneurship, building connections among business communities, and empowering Pakistani-Americans. He expressed his appreciation for the dedication of Dr. Tariq Butt, Mr. Naveed Anwar, and other community leaders in bringing this vision to fruition.

The Consul General acknowledged the substantial impact of the Pakistani-American community in the Chicagoland area, emphasizing their energetic participation in the region’s economic and technological advancements.

Furthermore, he highlighted the enduring partnership between Pakistan and the United States, emphasizing the considerable potential for expanding economic and trade relations across diverse industries. He also mentioned the flourishing operations of over 80 US companies within Pakistan.
