24 Women Cricketers Participate in Karachi Camp Ahead of Ireland Tour

KARACHI: As the Pakistan women’s cricket team gears up for their tour of Ireland, they have been actively involved in a Skills and Fitness camp at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi. The team dedicated their time to batting, bowling, and fielding practice over the past two days.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Mohammad Wasim, the squad has been concentrating on refining both their batting and bowling skills. Specialist coaches have been offering personalized advice and leading practical exercises.

Alongside the on-field training, the players have been participating in thorough fitness briefings. These sessions are designed to help them maintain optimal physical fitness levels during their upcoming tour. The camp is scheduled to continue until August 2.

The Pakistan Women’s team is set to begin their Ireland tour with the first T20I match on August 7, followed by additional matches on August 10 and August 11.

This series marks a significant milestone as Pakistan’s first bilateral women’s white-ball tour of Ireland. It presents a crucial chance for the team to adapt to European conditions before the approaching ICC events.

As per the tour plans, the national women’s team will depart for Ireland on August 3. The three T20 International matches between Pakistan and Ireland will be hosted in Dublin.

The series is scheduled to commence on August 7, with subsequent matches on August 10 and 11. All three T20 International games are to be held at the Clontarf Cricket Club Ground in Ireland.
