Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan Amid Global Downturn

On Friday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced a decrease, mirroring trends observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market has reached Rs350,900, after decreasing by Rs1,800.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold declined by Rs1,543 and was trading at Rs300,840.

The price of gold per tola had previously reached Rs352,700 on Thursday, following a reduction of Rs4,200.

The international gold rate also saw a decline on Friday. APGJSA reported the rate at $3,325 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which is $18 less than the previous day.

The price of silver per tola remained steady at Rs3,417.
