Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced an increase on Friday, mirroring gains observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs351,000, marking a rise of Rs3,500 throughout the day.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs3,000 to settle at Rs300,925, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On the preceding day, Thursday, the price of gold per tola had reached Rs347,500, following a decrease of Rs1,900 during the day’s trading.

The international gold rate also saw a significant increase on Friday, reaching $3,326 per ounce (with a premium of $20), which reflects an increase of $35, as reported by APGJSA.

Concurrently, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs38, bringing it to a total of Rs3,466.
