Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan
The upward trend in gold prices persisted in Pakistan on Tuesday, mirroring gains observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market escalated to Rs356,800, marking an increase of Rs6,600 throughout the day.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the cost of 10-gram gold reached Rs305,898, reflecting a rise of Rs5,658.
On the previous day, Monday, the gold price per tola had already climbed to Rs350,200, following a gain of Rs800 during that session.
Furthermore, the international gold rate also saw an upswing today. APGJSA reported the rate at $3,348 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which represents a gain of $66.
Concurrently, the price of silver per tola experienced an increase, reaching Rs3,834 after a rise of Rs52.
