LAHORE: Pakistan’s women’s cricket team secured their place in the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup with a decisive 87-run triumph over Thailand on Thursday. The victory, achieved on home soil, also propelled Pakistan to the top of the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier standings, surpassing Bangladesh.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Pakistan posted a total of 205/6 in their allotted 50 overs.

- Sidra Amin: The top-order batter led the charge with a score of 80 runs from 105 balls, including nine boundaries.
- Fatima Sana: The captain contributed an unbeaten 62 runs off 59 deliveries, hitting six fours and one six.
