Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan Amid Global Downturn
The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a decrease on Friday, mirroring a downward trend observed in the international market. Domestically, the price of gold per tola settled at Rs357,100, reflecting a reduction of Rs1,000 throughout the day’s trading.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs306,155, after decreasing by Rs858.
On Wednesday, the price of gold per tola had previously touched Rs358,100, following a decrease of Rs200 during that particular day.
The international gold rate also registered a fall today. According to APGJSA, the rate was $3,344 per ounce (including a premium of $20), marking a loss of $10.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained steady at Rs4,072.
