Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan
On Saturday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced a decrease, mirroring declines observed in the global market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs356,200, representing a reduction of Rs900 throughout the day.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs771, bringing the selling price to Rs305,384.
The previous day, Friday, saw the per tola gold price reach Rs357,100 following a Rs1,000 decrease.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a downturn. The global rate, according to APGJSA, was $3,335 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $9 loss.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs41, reaching a value of Rs4,031.
