Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan
On Wednesday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a downturn, mirroring trends observed in the global market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs3,000, settling at Rs356,000.
According to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs2,572 to reach Rs305,212.
To recall, on Tuesday, the gold rate per tola had reached Rs359,000 following a reduction of Rs700 during the day’s trading.
The international gold rate also saw a decrease on Wednesday, with the rate recorded at $3,335 per ounce (including a premium of $20), marking a $30 decrease, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained stable at Rs4,014.
