Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan Amid Global Downturn

The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a decrease on Tuesday, mirroring a similar trend observed in the international market. Domestically, the per tola gold price settled at Rs361,300, reflecting a reduction of Rs1,000 throughout the day’s trading.

Correspondingly, the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs309,756, after a decrease of Rs857, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On the previous day, Monday, the per tola gold price had reached Rs362,300, following a decrease of Rs700 during that session.

The international gold rate also saw a downturn on Tuesday, reaching $3,398 per ounce (including a premium of $20), which represents a decrease of $16, as reported by APGJSA.

In contrast, the price of silver per tola saw an increase of Rs69, bringing it to Rs3,856.
