Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan
On Tuesday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced an upswing, mirroring gains observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs354,500, marking an increase of Rs1,500 during the day’s trading.
Local Market Update
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,286, settling at Rs303,926.
Previous Day’s Performance
In contrast, Monday saw a decline in gold prices, with the per tola rate decreasing by Rs2,500 to reach Rs353,000.
International Market Influence
The international gold rate also saw an increase on Tuesday, reaching $3,325 per ounce (inclusive of a $20 premium), reflecting a gain of $15, as reported by APGJSA.
Silver Prices Remain Stable
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained steady at Rs3,841.
