Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan Amid Global Market Increase
On Monday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced an increase, mirroring gains observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs353,100, marking a substantial rise of Rs5,900 during the day’s trading.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also saw an increase, reaching Rs302,726 after a gain of Rs5,058.
Previously, on Saturday, the price of gold per tola had settled at Rs347,200, reflecting a decrease of Rs1,400 during that day.
The global gold rate also climbed on Monday, with the rate reaching $3,347 per ounce (including a premium of $20), which represents an increase of $59, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained stable at Rs3,456.
