Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan Amid Global Surge

Gold rates in Pakistan experienced an increase on Wednesday, mirroring gains observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs364,900, marking a rise of Rs3,700 during the day’s trading.

According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs312,842, reflecting an increase of Rs3,171.

On the preceding day, Tuesday, the price of gold per tola had remained steady at Rs361,200.

The international gold rate also saw an upswing today, reaching $3,424 per ounce (including a premium of $20), which represents a gain of $37, according to APGJSA.

Concurrently, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs46, settling at Rs4,081.
