Gold Prices Fall in Pakistan
On Monday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced a decrease, mirroring trends observed in the global market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs356,300, representing a reduction of Rs100 during the day’s trading.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the cost of 10-gram gold amounted to Rs305,470, reflecting a decrease of Rs85.
Previously, on Saturday, the gold price per tola had reached Rs356,400, following a drop of Rs300 within that day.
The international gold rate saw a decline on Monday. Data from APGJSA indicated the rate stood at $3,336 per ounce (inclusive of a $20 premium), marking a decrease of $1.
Meanwhile, the silver price per tola held steady at Rs3,963.
