Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan

On Friday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a downturn, mirroring trends observed in the global market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs351,000, marking a decrease of Rs5,000 during the day’s trading.

According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs300,925, reflecting a reduction of Rs4,287.

The previous day, Thursday, saw gold reach Rs356,000 per tola after an increase of Rs1,335.

Internationally, gold rates also saw a decrease. The global rate stood at $3,290 per ounce (including a premium of $20), representing a fall of $53, as reported by APGJSA.

Simultaneously, the price of silver per tola declined by Rs68, bringing it to Rs3,782.
