Gold Prices Fall in Pakistan Amid Global Downturn
On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decrease, mirroring a similar trend observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs351,500, marking a reduction of Rs2,600 during the day’s trading.
Price Adjustments
The cost of 10-gram gold also saw a decline, reaching Rs301,354 after a decrease of Rs2,228. These rates were provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Previous Rate
On the preceding Saturday, the price of gold per tola had climbed to Rs354,100, reflecting an increase of Rs3,100 within that day.
Global Market Impact
The international gold rate also showed a downward trend on Monday, registering at $3,331 per ounce (including a premium of $20), which represents a decrease of $26, according to APGJSA.
Silver Prices Remain Stable
In contrast to gold, the price of silver per tola remained steady at Rs3,508.
