Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan Following Global Trend

On Saturday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a downturn, mirroring the decline observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs349,400, reflecting a decrease of Rs1,600 during the day’s trading.

According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs299,554, after a reduction of Rs1,371.

In the previous trading session on Friday, the gold price per tola had reached Rs351,000, marking a substantial loss of Rs5,000 during that day.

The international gold rate also saw a decrease today. The rate was recorded at $3,274 per ounce (including a premium of $20), which represents a fall of $16, as reported by APGJSA.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained stable at Rs3,782.
