Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan Amid Global Downtrend

On Friday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced a decrease, mirroring trends observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs356,700, reflecting a loss of Rs2,300 during the day’s trading.

According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs1,972 to reach Rs305,812.

To recall, the per tola gold price had previously reached Rs359,000 on Thursday, following a substantial decrease of Rs5,900.

The global gold rate also saw a decline on Friday. APGJSA reported the international rate at $3,340 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $23 decrease.

Concurrently, the price of silver per tola also decreased by Rs34, ultimately settling at Rs4,023.
