Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan

Domestic gold rates in Pakistan experienced a downturn on Saturday, mirroring losses observed in the global market. The price of gold per tola settled at Rs362,400, representing a decrease of Rs300 throughout the day.

According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the value of 10-gram gold reached Rs310,699, after falling by Rs257.

On the preceding day, Friday, the per tola gold price had risen to Rs362,700, marking an increase of Rs500 during that session.

Internationally, gold also witnessed a drop in value today. The rate stood at $3,397 per ounce (including a premium of $20), reflecting a decrease of $3, as reported by APGJSA.

Concurrently, the cost of silver per tola decreased by Rs9, bringing it to a value of Rs4,064.
