Pak Datacom Limited Announces Leadership Transition

Pak Datacom Limited (PAKD) has declared a change in its leadership structure. Syed Zulfiqar Ali, the Chief Executive/Executive Director, has been placed on mandatory leave pending the completion of a special audit and further directives.

In the interim, Ali Saleem Rana has assumed the responsibilities of acting CEO and acting Executive Director. He will continue to serve in his current capacity as the company secretary.

The alteration took effect on July 25, 2025, as communicated by PAKD in its notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) this Monday.

The publicly traded entity has also revamped its Board of Directors. The newly formed board is now headed by Zomna Mohiuddin and comprises eight members, including both independent directors and representatives from the non-executive division.

Pak Datacom Limited was established in Pakistan in 1992 as a private limited company before converting to a public limited company in 1994.

The company’s core business involves establishing, managing, and maintaining a data communication network to fulfill customer requirements.

At the time of this report, PAKD’s share price was trading at Rs237.90, reflecting a decrease of Rs1.81 or 0.75%.
