PTA Introduces Temporary Mobile Registration System

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched a Temporary Mobile Registration System to facilitate international travelers and overseas Pakistanis in utilizing their mobile devices while in Pakistan, according to an official statement.

Under this new initiative, temporary visitors have the option to register their personal mobile phones for a maximum duration of 120 days. This service is accessible during each visit to the country, the authority stated.

This user-focused system is engineered to provide seamless mobile connectivity for visitors, thereby enhancing communication during their stay in Pakistan.

The registration process is offered free of charge, fully digitized, and accessible through the official Device Registration System portal at: https://dirbs.pta.gov.pk/drs.
