NBP Installs ATM at Karachi Cattle Market for Eid Season

In Karachi, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has set up an ATM kiosk at the cattle market near the Northern Bypass to deliver swift, reliable, and accessible banking services during the peak Eid period.

This action is part of the State Bank of Pakistan’s “Go Cashless” initiative, which seeks to encourage digital payments and broader financial participation.

NBP personnel are on location to help customers and ensure the ATM operates without issues, thereby improving the overall user experience. Having ATM services within the market means that traders, farmers, and purchasers don’t need to carry large amounts of currency, which improves convenience and security.

Faisal Ahmed Topra, SEVP & Group Chief (A), Retail Banking Group at NBP, stated the bank’s dedication: “We are pleased to offer our ATM services at the Cattle Market in Karachi, allowing for safe and easy cashless transactions. This project encourages smooth business operations and demonstrates our commitment to financial inclusion.”
