National Bodybuilding Championship Concludes in Islamabad
The inaugural National PSB Bodybuilding and Physique Championship 2025 reached a successful conclusion at the Pakistan Sports Complex, showcasing considerable enthusiasm and talent.
The Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation organized the championship, which saw the participation of 122 athletes. These athletes came from various regions of the country and competed across 23 categories.
The event encompassed a range of contests, including Senior, Junior, Masters, Athletic Physique, and Sports Physique divisions.
A distinguished panel of judges, with representatives from the World Bodybuilding Federation, the Asian Bodybuilding Federation, and various provincial associations, meticulously assessed the athletes’ performances.
Following the rigorous evaluation, eight outstanding athletes—Ejaz Ahmed, Firasat Ali, Mohsin Iqbal, Muhammad Shakeel, Bilal Ahmed, Usama Saeed, Haroon Rasheed, and Faizan Gul—were chosen to represent Pakistan at the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2025, scheduled to occur in Thailand later this year.
Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation Secretary General Sohail Anwar attended the event as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included PSB Organising Committee Chairman Saeed Akhtar, committee members Nasrullah Rana, Farman Khan, Sohail Gil, and renowned nutritionist Dr. Nabeel.
In his address, Sohail Anwar conveyed his appreciation to the Pakistan Sports Board for their assistance in hosting the championship and the inaugural Anti-Doping Awareness Seminar.
He reaffirmed the federation’s commitment to promoting bodybuilding throughout the country through practical and effective measures, stating, “Our performance will demonstrate our dedication.”
