Major League Cricket Season 4 Announced for June-July 2026

The fourth season of Major League Cricket (MLC) is scheduled from June 18 to July 18, 2026. Six teams will participate, competing in 34 matches, continuing the format from the previous season.

Despite the Season 4 announcement, USA Cricket (USAC) has not yet confirmed if they have reversed the termination of their agreement with American Cricket Enterprises (ACE), the league’s owners.

This ambiguity has sparked worries among USA players, according to Corey Anderson, operational director of the USA Cricketers’ Association, an entity not formally recognized by USAC.

Since the third season in 2025, the MLC schedule has been set in June-July to prevent conflicts with other global franchise tournaments. This allows the league to access a broader spectrum of international players.

The tournament, which started with 19 matches in 2023, grew to 25 matches in 2024 and has maintained a 34-match format since 2025.

MLC Chief Executive Johnny Grave stated, “Season 3 demonstrated the strong and growing demand for high-quality cricket in the USA.”

“MLC is attracting new fans, followers, and viewers across the USA and globally. We are fulfilling our commitment to expand the sport nationwide and strengthen relationships with new and existing commercial partners.”

MLC reports that ACE intends to develop ten international-standard venues by 2030, with investments surpassing US$150 million.

The six teams slated to compete in the 2026 season are Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings, and Washington Freedom.

MLC also intends to introduce two additional teams by the 2027 season and is exploring expansion into Canada.

In the 2025 edition, MI New York secured their second title in three seasons, narrowly defeating Washington Freedom by five runs in an exciting final.
