Royal Family Reportedly Upset Over Meghan Markle’s Title Usage

The Royal Family is reportedly displeased after Meghan Markle was recently addressed as “Your Royal Highness” in a communication from a Ukrainian official.

The Duchess of Sussex, now known as Meghan Sussex, along with Prince Harry, relinquished their roles as senior working Royals in 2020 and committed to refrain from utilizing their HRH titles.

While they retained their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles, they are no longer active members of the Royal Family.

A statement released by the Palace at the time stated, “With the late Queen’s approval, the Sussexes will continue their private patronages and affiliations.”

“Although they are no longer able to formally represent the Queen, the Sussexes have affirmed their dedication to upholding Her Majesty’s values in all their endeavors.

“The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles because they are no longer working members of the Royal Family.”

However, the recent invocation of the HRH title for Meghan has reportedly caused consternation within the Royal Family, with a confidant of King Charles describing Meghan’s latest action as “outrageous.”

According to a report, a source close to journalist Tom Sykes shared the Royal Family’s sentiments.

“It’s outrageous,” they stated. “Just when you believe the situation cannot worsen, it invariably does.”
