London Stock Exchange Group Reports Strong First-Quarter Income

The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) announced on Thursday that its income for the first quarter increased by 8.2%, exceeding initial projections. This growth was driven by robust performance across all of its operational divisions.

LSEG reported a total income of 2.26 billion pounds ($3 billion) for the quarter, excluding recoveries. This figure represents an 8.2% increase, surpassing the average analyst expectation of a 7.6% rise, as indicated by a company-compiled survey.

The company, which manages the London Stock Exchange and delivers data and analytics to financial institutions, expressed confidence in sustained growth and improved profitability. LSEG also reaffirmed its guidance for 2025.

LSEG anticipates organic constant currency growth of 6.5%-7.5% in total income, excluding recoveries, by 2025.
