Kohinoor Energy Profit Declines by 60% in Q1 2025

Kohinoor Energy Limited has reported a 60% decrease in profit for the quarter concluding on March 31, 2025. This is in comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year. The company’s condensed consolidated interim statement was shared in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday.

The company’s profit for the specified quarter was Rs180 million, a significant drop from the Rs442 million recorded during the same timeframe last year.

Sales figures for the first three months of 2025 reached Rs1.06 billion, reflecting a 59% decline from the Rs2.59 billion reported in the equivalent period of 2024.

The cost of sales was Rs730 million, compared to Rs1.94 billion during the same period the year prior.

Consequently, the company’s gross profit totaled Rs333 million, marking a 50% decrease from the previous Rs653 million.

The profit before tax for Kohinoor Energy in Jan-Mar 2025 was Rs181 million, down from Rs442 million in the same months of the prior year.
