Kane Williamson Joins Karachi Kings for PSL 10

New Zealand’s prominent batter and former captain, Kane Williamson, arrived in Lahore on Thursday to participate in the ongoing tenth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The experienced cricketer has linked up with the Karachi Kings squad at their hotel in the city.

Williamson was selected by the Karachi Kings in the supplementary category during the HBL PSL 2025 player draft.

The Kings, who currently hold the second position in the PSL 10 standings with three victories out of five matches, are scheduled to compete against the Quetta Gladiators in their next game.

In preparation for this important match, the team will conduct a practice session today at 6 PM at the Lahore City Cricket Association Ground.

The Karachi Kings are coming into this match on the heels of an exciting victory over Peshawar Zalmi, having successfully chased a target of 149 runs.

Captain David Warner played a crucial role in the innings with a significant 60 runs off 47 balls, while Khushdil Shah provided valuable support with an unbeaten 23 runs off 17 balls.

Williamson, aged 34, brings a vast amount of T20 experience to the team, having participated in 93 matches for New Zealand, accumulating 2,575 runs at an average of 33.44 and a strike rate of 123.08.

He has also been a part of several renowned T20 leagues globally, including the SA20, IPL, Vitality Blast, CPL, and the now-defunct CLT20.

He is poised to make his PSL debut when the Kings face the Quetta Gladiators on Friday at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
