In a major step toward improving public services, Karachi’s North Nazimabad NADRA Mega Center will now issue passports round the clock. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi officially inaugurated the new passport office, making it more convenient for residents to obtain travel documents without long delays.

A 24/7 Facility for Citizens’ Convenience

The newly established passport office at NADRA Mega Center will operate in three shifts, ensuring uninterrupted services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This initiative aims to reduce waiting times and provide efficient services to citizens at all hours.

During the inauguration, Minister Mohsin Naqvi inspected the passport application counters, met with the staff, and interacted with applicants to assess their experience.

Public Appreciation for Improved Services

Many citizens expressed their satisfaction with the new service, calling it a much-needed convenience. “This is an excellent facility that has made things easier for us,” one applicant shared. Several others thanked the government for addressing their concerns and streamlining the passport issuance process.

Additionally, Minister Naqvi also met with women visiting the center for biometric verification under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). After listening to their concerns, he immediately instructed relevant officials to resolve their issues.

Minister Mohsin Naqvi reassured citizens that improving public services remains a priority. “It is our responsibility to address your problems and provide efficient solutions,” he stated during his visit.
