BIEK Postpones Intermediate Annual Examinations 2025

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has declared a modification to the schedule for the 2025 intermediate annual examinations.

As per the instructions from the board chairman, the examinations will now commence on May 5, a shift from the originally planned date of April 28.

According to the formal announcement, this adjustment in the examination timeline is attributed to a couple of key factors:

  • The board is currently focused on allocating grace marks to all students who participated in the 2024 first-year annual exams for Science Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, and Science General groups, particularly in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. This undertaking has had an impact on the arrangements for the forthcoming examinations.
  • A number of examination centers are still being used for the ongoing matriculation exams, which started on April 8 and are scheduled to run until May 8.

To facilitate a seamless examination process and ensure the availability of suitable venues, it was determined that postponing the commencement of the intermediate exams was essential.

Students, educational institutions, and parents are encouraged to proceed with their preparations in accordance with the updated schedule.
