Building Collapse in Lyari Claims Lives
A five-story residential building in Karachi’s Baghdadi area, Lyari, crumbled on Friday, resulting in fatalities and injuries, according to rescue sources.
Rescue teams have recovered at least two bodies and six injured individuals from the wreckage. Among those rescued was a woman.
Authorities have indicated that more people are believed to be trapped in the debris, and rescue efforts are ongoing.
Hospital officials have verified that six injured people were admitted to the Civil Hospital’s Trauma Centre.
One of the injured is in critical condition, while the other five sustained minor injuries and are currently receiving medical care.
